George Kerr is all over the media after being awarded his 10th Dan. This morning he appeared on BBC breakfast TV and namechecked The Budokwai - "...in Gilston Road, in London. I think it's still there."   BBC News

RIP Rusty Kanokogi - on Jan 2 2010 The Times published an obituary for Rena "Rusty" Kanokogi who died on Nov 21 2009. She was known as the “Mother of Women’s Judo” and takes credit for the inclusion of the women's event in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.   The Times
